Thanks for mentioning Gimp, Zeta; it really is a great program. I have a good amount of experience with both Gimp and photoshop, and I'll say this much: Gimp ain't photoshop, but it's pretty dang close. If you have the skills to rock photoshop, I promise you'll be able to make Gimp sing. Use it in conjunction with a good vector editor (I'd recommend inkscape, also free) and you're set as far as imaging goes.

Not everyone is on the same page yet. There are still several of us with far differing views in regards to how we should conduct ourselves publicly.

Some of us don't see a need to have an *extremely* public image.

Some of us prefer to leave what we do in the shadows where we came from.

Most of what you're saying is valid; however, running with ankle weights is actually a terrible idea because the impact is damaging for your ankle and knee joints, especially over time. Ankle weights are useful in exercising that has no impact, though, such as leg lifts. If you want to keep your joints healthy in the long run, the only weights you should have are in your hands, and even those should be fairly light to help prevent possibly hyper-extending your elbows.

All I can say is that you are either misinformed or you are lying. I've never tried to spam or shut down your site. It does good things, beyond the way you run it.

I never left a hateful message. Actually, I was backing you up, but you're too biased to see that. I'm not the bully that picked on you in school, pal. Maybe you should wake up and realize it. You guys both need to stop projecting all your past problems onto people that disagree with you.

I'm not even sure what you mean by malicious applications and shoddy (sp) scripts. I'm thinking that's more of you accusing me of "hacking" you? I don't even know how to operate the damn moderator panel half the time, man. Wrong there.

To end: Never claimed to be a better person than anyone. Never stated that what I do is more important. And I don't want to be united as a community. I want to be united as a species. As humans, not superheroes. You read way too much into things.

You have great power with your public presence, and you're squandering it. If I thought you were worth nothing, I wouldn't harp on you so much.

I'm far from the only person who thinks this, man. You might have noticed only a handful of RLSH even deal with you anymore. And they're the same ones that still tolerate Tothian and ML.

Comment #4 - Well said Zetaman.

Concerning patrols, I've found that wearing a symbol helps. Walking around back alleys in the middle of the night wearing street clothes could be more suspicious to others than wearing a bright noticable costume. Even wearing a joggling suit as opposed to jeans and a leather jacket. Again refering to small town police: first impressions - dress like a ninja and get treated like a burglar, dress in bright reflective clothes and get treated better because obviously you're not trying to hide.

Of course there is the confidence that goes with wearing a symbol too.

Great post.
